Somebody baked a war hammer.
The head is a thick block of gingerbread decorated like a Christmas cookie: white zigzag icing round the edges, yellow-iced Christmas trees, red and green sugar dots, holly leaves and a slice of candied orange in the middle, with another orange slice capping the back.
A shiny red ribbon is tied in a bow where the head meets the handle, and the handle itself is a twisted red and white candy cane wrapped in green holly and red berries, finished with a star-shaped cookie at the end.
