Adding a gun to a FiveM server usually means copying entries into your inventory’s weapon files by hand, then digging through weapons.meta for every stat you want to change. This does both from one in-game screen. Type /weaponmanager and it lists every weapon in your resources, single guns and packs, with a tag showing whether each one is already in your inventory.
Install with one click
Pick a weapon and press Install Weapon. A dialog asks which inventory item belongs to each attachment, and Smart Detect fills them in from the weapon’s component data. The weapon and its parts go into your inventory’s config; Uninstall Weapon takes them out again. Restart the inventory and it’s in.
Works with ESX (es_extended), QBCore (qb-inventory), ox_inventory, jaksam_inventory and Origen Inventory, plus AK47 Inventory and Quasar Inventory on ESX.
Edit the stats
The same screen edits the weapon’s meta values. Every field has a tooltip and its own Save and Save + Backup button:
| Group | Values |
|---|---|
| Damage | Base damage, headshot modifier and distances, fall-off range and modifier |
| Range and recoil | Weapon range, recoil shake, accuracy and recovery |
| Firing | Time between shots, automatic fire rate, fire mode (automatic, semi-auto, burst, projectile), bullets per shot, spread |
| Ammo | Clip size, reload speed, ammo type (an installed weapon updates in the inventory too) |
| Forces | Bullet speed and the push on peds and vehicles |
| Sound and handling | 26 GTA weapon sound presets, drive-by on or off |
Attachments can be set to come fitted on the gun or left optional.
Setup
- Admins only: add your Steam, license, Discord, Xbox or FiveM identifier to the whitelist
- Scans weapons.meta, weaponarchetypes.meta and weaponcomponents.meta on start, stream folders included; Refresh Scan reads them again
- Timestamped backups, 20 kept per file
- Runs on Windows and Linux hosts and needs write access to your resource files
- The meta editor works without a framework; installing needs one of the inventories above
- config.lua is open; the rest is protected by Cfx asset escrow
