The red crossguard sweeps up on one side and down on the other, a small silver spur sits behind the finger notch, and grooved silver bands split the handle into sections, ending in a silver pommel with a lanyard hole. The blade is worn grey steel with dark speckles, a long fuller line and a clipped point.
