Granite is the nearest comparison for the default finish: black, flecked and clouded with grey, from the fixed stock through to the handguard.
Each chromium skin changes the steel receiver, the cocking tube over the handguard and the front sight, plus the trigger. Gold is the brightest of the three, purple-pink drifts towards blue in places, and red goes deep and dark, close to black in the shadows. The grip, stock and handguard keep their grey speckle under all of them.
