Type /crosshair and a small window opens with 175 crosshairs laid out in a grid, with a search box on top. Click one and it replaces the GTA reticle straight away. The window can be dragged anywhere on screen and resized.
The second tab has the settings. Each player sets their own size and opacity with two sliders and decides when the crosshair shows, and the game remembers their choices the next time they join:
- all the time, or only while aiming
- in first-person aim too, or not
- custom crosshair on or off, GTA's own crosshair on or off, or neither
/crosshair_reset puts a player back on the default.
For server owners
The config sets what new players start with: which crosshair, the type (custom, default or none), size and opacity from 5 to 100, and the two visibility switches. The crosshairs are PNG images inside the resource, so you can swap any of them or add your own.
- Standalone, so it runs on any FiveM server: ESX, QBCore, Qbox or no framework at all
- Install: copy the folder into resources and start it in server.cfg
- Protected by Cfx asset escrow; needs current server artifacts and a valid Cfx license key
If you also want hitmarkers, damage numbers and tracers, those are in Advanced PvP HUD – Crosshair v2.
